Here we go - I've decided to keep this blog so that I can keep track of this crazy, hectic life. I'm hoping to just get my thoughts out there to find out if others feel the same way I do sometimes (proving that I'm not totally nuts!!).
About me:
I'm a Mommy. I have 2 little girls, M and A. M is a 5 year old sensitive, smart, shy little girl. She is in kindergarten this year, and acts like a know-it-all. She likes to follow the rules and is very much a people pleaser. Basically, she's a LOT like me - poor child. A is a 3 year old outgoing, funny little girl who LOVES to be the center of attention. Her first word (after Mommy and Daddy) was shoe, and she loves clothes. She has a big personality, and super curly hair that draws immediate attention from people everywhere we go. She is a lot like her Daddy - silly, funny and well-liked.
I'm a wife. I met my husband when we were in 9th grade and he has been my best friend since. We've been married 8 years now, and I can honestly say that it gets better everyday. He works as a police officer and has hours that are not always predictable. He loves his family, his job, and GOLF.
I'm an Accountant. I work for FedEx and have been working toward getting my CPA license. I like to control things around me and am very much a planner. I don't like it when things don't go as I had planned, and struggle with the "unknown". I am a Christian and love the Lord Jesus. I try each day to give all my worried to Him, which is a constant struggle.
Ok, so that's me in a nutshell. Hopefully I haven't revealed so much that I will be uncomfortable being open and honest about my fears, struggles and victories. After all, all we can do it take it one day at a time....
